Dikki Du (Troy Carrier) is a native of Church Point, Louisiana. Born into one of the great musical Louisiana families, The CARRIERS, Troy is the brother of Chubby Carrier and son of Roy Carrier. Dikki Du's recent "Make it Funky" shows the tremendous range of this band. His ability to take songs from classic zydeco and turn them inside out with fresh and funky sounds, and his renditions of "Iko-Iko" and Stevie Wonder's "Higher Ground" ensure a great groove.
